Can you describe your office space?

I like to have everything that I might possibly need with me- so most likely I will have at least two screens, a big notebook, a small notebook, pens, headphones, a coffee, water bottle, and maybe a chocolate bar.

What is your background?

Previously I studied political science, with a strong focus on policy studies, communications, and international relations. In the past year I have focused on research and project management in the field of disinformation and how these challenges can be addressed on a state and societal level.

If you had to choose a different field, what would it be?

If I had to choose something completely different, I would probably become a cook. I think they are like artists; they create something great and beautiful from scratch, and everyone loves good food. If I chose something closer to my own field, then I would probably become an investigative journalist.

Is there a TV-show you are binging?

I am finishing the show “Alpha Males” on Netflix, it is a comedy show which is a great critique of existing gender roles and privileges in a changing society.

What are you listening to these days?

I am listening to this year’s Eurovision songs. I know it is usually bad music, but there is something so intriguing in mixing show business with politics.

If you were prime minister for a day, what would you do?

I would invest in public transportation, local, national, international. I also drive a car, but I always prefer the care-free feeling that public transportation gives me. It is comfortable and it can take me anywhere I need to go. After investing in public transportation, I would maybe focus on establishing world peace.

Which podcast are you listening to right now and why?

I am listening to the podcast “Europeans”. It is a fun and witty podcast, covering all the relevant news in Europe and beyond; they also have great guests.

And a place you’ve been where you’d like to go back?

I lived in Spain for a year, but I spent only a few hours in Bilbao- would definitely love to go back and explore the Basque country, considering it is very green, but also so different from the rest of the peninsula.
