Get to know Jens
What does a typical day for you look like?
A typical day for me usually involves some form of exercise with friends. Recently, we have been training in the mornings, which can be tough, but I am growing to like it! I also like to read, watch TV and eat food.
What is your background?
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Comparative Politics from UiB. My main interests include social policy, welfare and political economy.
If you had to choose a different field, what would it be?
I think it would have to be psychology. Humans are so complex, and I find different theories of behaviour and the psyche very interesting.
Is there a TV show you are binging?
I have just started watching “Curb Your Enthusiasm” by Larry David, which is both ridiculous and funny.
Which podcast are you listening to right now, and why?
I have recently started listening to “Doomscroll” by Joshua Citarell, which I have enjoyed a lot. He has many interesting guests and discusses the role of the internet in modern politics.
