SUMMARY:RDV: Severity and priority setting in health care (Mathias Barra)
DESCRIPTION:Mathias Barra:\nSeverity and priority setting in health care (SEVPRI)\nMathias Barra is a Senior Researcher at the Health Services Research Unit (HØKH)\, Akershus University Hospital (Norway)\, and at the Bergen Centre for Ethics and Priority Setting (BCEPS)\, University of Bergen. His research interests include are Quality/Value of Life Research\, Badness of death\, health economics and ethics; mostly in the context of priority setting in health care. His main focus right now is the SERPRI project. SUMMARY:Barnevernfrokost: Hvordan opplever barn og foreldre barnevernssaker?
DESCRIPTION:Hvordan opplever barn og foreldre barneverssaker? En av kjernefunksjonene i ethvert barnevernsystem er å beskytte og gjenreise barns integritet. For å utøve denne funksjonen er det avgjørende at profesjonelle i barnevernstjenesten har tilstrekkelig med kunnskap om hvordan barn og foreldre opplever barnevernssaker. Mangelfull innsikt i hvordan barn og foreldre erfarer barnevernssaker kan potensielt sett skade barns integritet og forhindre barns medvirkning – i strid med saksbehandlers intensjoner. I denne utgaven av Barnevernfrokost vil Professor Stefan Schnurr ta utgangspunkt i det sveitsiske barnevernet og et pågående forskningsprosjekt som studerer barns og foreldres erfaringer med barnevernet for å belyse hvilke forhold som best tilrettelegger for barns medvirkning og samtidig ivaretar deres selvstendighet og beskytter deres integritet. Foredraget holdes på engelsk. \nStefan Schnurr er professor or instituttleder ved Institute for Studies in Children and Youth Services ved University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Hans forskningsinteresser inkluderer sosialt arbeid\, barne- og ungdomstjenester og deltakelse. Schnurr har ledet og deltatt i flere store forskningsprosjekt med formål om å forbedre og videreutvikle sosiale tjenester for barn og ungdom. DESCRIPTION:Dr. Alfred Moore: Expertise and Political Legitimacy Before\, During\, and After the Covid Pandemic\nDr. Alfred Moore is a Lecturer in Political Theory at the Department of Politics at the University of York. His research interests include deliberative democracy\, social epistemology\, politics of expertise and technology and democracy. He also has a current interest in the networked public sphere – the ways in which the internet is changing democratic politics. Moore is currently working on the research project “Rethinking political competition”\, funded by The British Academy. SUMMARY:Barnevernfrokost: Konflikthåndtering og kommunikasjon i barnevernssaker
DESCRIPTION:Samtaleprosess er en meklingsliknende prosess i saker for fylkesnemndene. Formålet er å «bedre partenes kommunikasjon og gi dem mulighet til å bli enige om løsninger til barnets beste som hel eller delvis løsning på saken» (barnevernloven § 7-25). Hvorfor er det behov for samtaleprosess? Kunne en del av sakene som løses med denne metoden vært løst i barneverntjenesten? Hva er det en samtaleprosess tilfører barnevernssakene? \nCamilla Bernt er Professor ved Det juridiske fakultet\, UiB. Hun er leder for forskergruppen for sivilprosess og konfliktløsning. Hennes forskningsområder er særlig knyttet til mekling\, barnerett og god forvaltningsskikk.
