DESCRIPTION:Hvilke konsekvenser vil dommene fra Strasbourg få for det norske barnevernet?\nDen europeiske menneskerettighets-domstolen har tatt inn et rekordstort antall norske barnevernssaker til behandling. I flere dommer konkluderes det med   at Norge har krenket retten til respekt for privatliv og familieliv. Men hva sier egentlig domstolen om den norske praksisen i barnevernssaker? Og hvilke implikasjoner vil det få i barnevernssystemet på kort og lang sikt? \nKarl Harald Søvig er professor og dekan ved Det juridiske fakultet\, UiB. DESCRIPTION:Trude Haugli:\nBarns rett til helse\nTrude Haugli is Professor of Law at the University of Tromsø\, where she leads the research group for children’s rights. Her research interests include the Legal status of children and young people\, International Children’s rights\, Children’s Constitutional rights in the Nordic Countries\, and the Child perspective in legal research. She is the PI of the ongoing research project “Children’s right to health”\, funded by the Research Council of Norway. SUMMARY:Barnevernfrokost: Musikkterapi i barnevernet
DESCRIPTION:Kan musikk hjelpe barn og unge som har en vanskelig oppvekst? \nMange unge i barnevernet har psykiske vansker og opplever utfordringer knyttet til tillitt\, identitet\, deltakelse og trygghet. Kostnadene ved manglende forebygging er store\, både for det enkelte barnet og for samfunnet. I flere kommuner har man tatt i bruk musikkterapi som et verktøy for å fremme trivsel og sikre barns rett til å bli sett\, hørt og forstått. Kan musikk være et verktøy som gjør unge i barnevernet bedre rustet til å takle hverdagen? \nViggo Krüger er førsteamanuensis og leder for Griegakademiets senter for musikkterapiforsking\, UiB.
