DESCRIPTION:Hvordan gjør Fylkesnemnda vurderinger om sannsynligheten for framtidig omsorgssvikt? \nIda Juhasz sitt doktorgradsprosjekt utforsker begrunnelser for statlig inngripen i privatlivet\, gjennom en studie av beslutninger om omsorgsovertakelser av nyfødte. Hvordan begrunnes og rettferdiggjøres beslutninger om omsorgsovertakelse rett fra klinikken? Hvordan gjør Fylkesnemnda vurderinger om sannsynligheten for framtidig omsorgssvikt? Gjennom analyse av vedtak fra Fylkesnemnda utforskes skjønnsrommet gitt og brukt for et sett komplekse og usikre barnevernssaker som det finnes lite systematisk kunnskap om. \nIda B. DESCRIPTION:Presentation\n \nCathrine Holst: Epistemic worries about expertise and the design of better policy advice: examples from the NOU system\n\n\n  \n\nQuestions & Discussion\n\n  \nCathrine Holst is a professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Geography and senior scientist at the ARENA Center for European Research\, University of Oslo. She is also affiliated with CORE – Center for Gender Equality Research\, Department of Social Research. Cathrine Holst’s professional interests are political sociology and democracy research\, social and political theory\, knowledge and expertise in politics\, the EU\, the Nordic model and European integration\, gender equality policy\, feminist theory and gender research. Holst is currently leading the EUREX project: Expertization of Public Inquiry Commissions in a Europeanized Administrative Order (2016-2020). In 2020/2021\, Holst will be associated with the Center for Basic Studies (Center for Advanced Studies – CAS). Here she will lead a research group with Jakob Elster and the project “What is a good policy? Hofmann is particularly interested in the relationship between knowledge systems and ethics. He researches and teaches in philosophy of medicine\, ethics\, philosophy of science\, and technology assessment.
