SUMMARY:RDV: Rethinking domestic abuse in child protection (Brid Featherstone)
DESCRIPTION:Brid Featherstone is Professor of Social Work at the University of Huddersfield (England) and Associate Director of the Just Futures Centre\, a centre of excellence for research that seeks to address contemporary social problems affecting children\, young people\, families\, and communities. She worked in the field of social work from 1982-1992 and has since been involved in social work education and research at several universities. Professor Featherstone is internationally recognized in the areas of gender\, fathers\, and child protection and an awarded researcher.
