RDV: Deciding in times of crisis: strategic decision-making and the Brazilian Supreme Court (Karina Denari)

Karina Denari is Resarceher at Getulio Vargas Foundation in Sao Paulo (Brazil). She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Rio de Janeiro, where she is now an Adjunct Professor. Denari is a fully qualified Brazilian lawyer, focusing on disaster law and human rights, and she has also provided lectures for private and public lawyers, judges, and civil society on these issues. Denari has researched decision-making in times of crisis and which strategies the Brazilian Supreme Court employs to face challenges such as public scrutiny and criticism from political actors.
