Professor Marit Skivenes was invited to present on a webinar by NORBARN Research School at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Høgskulen på Vestlandet / HVL) on 10 June 2025. The title of the webinar is “Children’s rights and participation in the context of child protection: a conversation with Marit Skivenes,” and it is part of the NORBARN webinar series. The webinar was led by Postdoctoral Fellow Francesca Vaghi at HVL, who was also a visiting researcher at DIPA in 2024.
The talk opened with showcasing key themes and findings over the years on Professor Skivenes’ and her colleagues at DIPA and DIPA networks have culminated, followed by discussing recent progress in Norway related to children’s participation in child protection, describing what can be done for future policies, and concluded with a question and answer session.
