We are pleased to announce that Professor Stefanie Schurer will be visiting DIPA this January.
Stefanie is a Professor of Economics at the School of Economics, University of Sydney, Australia. Stefanie’s research interests are the economics of human development, lifecycle analysis, and econometric methods. Stefanie’s recent research examines how public policy affects people’s preferences, health, and well-being, focusing on the lens of inequality and paternalistic government policy.

Professor Stefanie Schurer is visiting the Centre from 19 January to 30 January, 2026 nd will be sitting at Christies gate 17. She will also be presenting in the “Rett, Politikk og Velfard (RPV)” seminar series on Thursday, 22 January 2026, on “Youth who go missing from care: characteristics and risk profiles”. At the same time, she will also be a guest researcher at the NHH School of Economics.
